Welcome, and thank you for visiting my campaign website.

As a current Redmond City Council member, I believe it is important to thoughtfully plan for our city’s challenges, encourage community engagement, and promote diversity. These are the values that guide me as I work to solve complex problems that our city and region faces.  I have lived in Redmond for 13 years and consider the Pacific Northwest home.

Since my appointment to city council, I’ve had the opportunity to speak to residents through our neighborhood conversations and other city events. Currently,  I am serving as the chair of the Parks and Human Services Commission where we strive to ensure that members of our community have their basic needs met so they can thrive, maintain and improve our parks, trails, and recreation activities.

I am aware of the challenges we are facing and will work to address issues such as lack of affordable housing, having a balanced approach to growth, and our aging community centers.  I believe that community engagement is crucial to having a local government that truly represents the will of the people.  I strive to be a leader who is approachable and listens to her constituents.  Finally, the demographics of Redmond are changing and I will endeavor to promote diversity and inclusion.

I ask for your support so that I can retain my council seat and continue to serve the people of Redmond, WA.
